Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
The federal government's Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is now available to most Canadians who don't have existing dental insurance—making free dental care more accessible than ever before. If you or someone in your family has been without coverage, chances are you may now qualify. Apply online through the Government of Canada website or call the CDCP hotline at 1-833-537-4342.

- No Private Dental Insurance
The primary requirement: applicants must not have access to private dental insurance through an employer, school, or other benefit plan. Most Canadians without coverage qualify.

Must have filed an income tax return in the previous year as a resident of Canada.

Must be below $90,000 annually. Those under $70,000 receive full coverage with no co-pay.

CDCP Coverage Levels
Coverage is determined by family net income. The following co-payment levels apply — these are coverage rates, not eligibility cutoffs. All applicants must still be below $90,000 to qualify.

Full coverage — no co-payment required. Most dental treatments are fully covered.
2. $70,000 – $79,999

Partial coverage — CDCP covers 60% of eligible dental treatment costs.
3. $80,000 – $89,999

Partial coverage — CDCP covers 40% of eligible dental treatment costs.
Healthy Kids Plan (BC Provincial)
Healthy Kids Plan (BC Provincial)
The BC Healthy Kids Program covers basic dental treatments for children under 19 from low-income families and can be combined with the CDCP for maximum coverage. Contact our clinic and we will assist you with the eligibility verification process.
Student Dental Plan
Student Dental Plan
Many Canadian post-secondary schools include dental insurance in tuition fees. We accept student plans from in-province and out-of-province schools and can assist with submitting claims directly to your insurance provider.
